Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is seeking an experienced IT leader to drive the design, implementation and operation of post-trade systems. You will lead a team responsible for architecture, delivery, and production support, coordinating with business and operations stakeholders to achieve shared results.

The role requires leading large-scale, mission-critical systems, strong governance, and effective people management across a diverse organization in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in CS, MIS or IT.
• 15+ years in IT with at least 10 years in leadership roles.
• Proven ability to lead complex IT programs across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience designing and delivering post-trade or similar financial systems.
• Strong risk, governance, and budget management awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of road map, architecture design and lifecycle for post-trade apps.
• Drive strategic technology directions meeting post-trade business needs.
• Define requirements with business stakeholders; coordinate with teams and vendors.
• Oversee production support for core mission-critical systems.
• Foster technology advancement and people management within the department.
• Take on assignments and projects from the department head.
