Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a proactive Senior Tunnel Engineer in Hong Kong to support a major infrastructure project. You will coordinate activities, manage planning and reporting, and maintain project records while liaising with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and client representatives.

The role offers hands‑on project management exposure in a dynamic infra environment, with a focus on safety, collaboration and delivering high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Organised and detail‑oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced site environment.
• Familiar with project management principles and tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel).
• Fluent in English; Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
• Prior experience in infrastructure or construction projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day coordination of project activities, including meetings, documentation, and reporting.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams, contractors, and client representatives.
• Monitor and manage site logistics, documentation flow, and compliance with project procedures.
• Prepare and maintain project records, including minutes, action logs, and status reports.
• Assist in identifying and resolving coordination issues to maintain project momentum.
• Contribute to a collaborative and safety‑conscious site culture.
