Job summary

Bullish is seeking a Trading Product Engineer to build core distributed systems poweringBullish Exchange. You will own end-to-end order lifecycle, architecting a hybrid CLQ with AMM and high-throughput APIs for Spot, Futures, and Options.

Bring strong Java (17+), experience in high-throughput, and a track record delivering scalable trading components. Expect collaboration across global teams in a fast-paced, security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building low-latency Java services.
• Experience with high-throughput systems and market data flow.
• Hands-on with AI/LLM integration and SDLC automation.
• Strong understanding of messaging queues and middleware.
• Familiarity with Spring or Micronaut frameworks, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver reusable, reliable, low-latency Java code that powers the Exchange.
• Raise the bar on code quality, organization, and automation as the system scales under load.
• Profile and resolve performance bottlenecks in the order-processing path.
• Improve stability through automated tests at unit, integration, and performance levels.
• Collaborate across a distributed team of engineers, product managers, and project managers.
