Job summary

Fencing Association of Hong Kong, China (FAHKC) seeks a Senior Sports Executive to lead the office operations and supervise staff. The role includes budgeting, reporting to the Executive Committee, and coordinating with partners to promote the sport.

Qualifications

  • An accredited Associate Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution or Higher Diploma from a polytechnic/university or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related areas.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all activities of FAHKC's office, including supervision and management of clerical staff
  • Prepare and submit annual budgets and provide regular reports on income and expenditure to the Executive Committee
  • Attend meetings of the Executive Committee and provide administrative support
  • Ensure tidy and orderly upkeeping of FAHKC's records and publications
  • Promote development of fencing and arrange media publicity
  • Liaise with LCSD and other bodies on funding and relevant matters
  • Maintain proper administration of FAHKC's office
  • Assist in development planning to raise standards and broaden participation
  • Ensure timely reporting and compliance with LCSD Subvention Handbook
  • Take charge of the accounting matters of the Scheme
