Job summary

The University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China Limited invites applications for a full-time Senior Sports Executive to facilitate the management and development of the Federation. This role supports strategic programs, events and subventions with LCSD.

The successful candidate will organize competitions, prepare annual plans and budgets, attend key meetings, oversee office administration, coordinate HR and finance, and liaise with sponsors and partners to advance local and international

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, Management or related studies.
• Over six years of working experience preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate Federation sports programs and competitions.
• Prepare annual plans and budgets for local and overseas events seeking LCSD subvention.
• Attend Council, EC and UGC meetings; provide admin and logistic support; prepare minutes.
• Oversee Federation office administration and general management.
• Coordinate HR and financial affairs for the office.
• Liaise with sponsors, LCSD, SFOC, FISU, AUSF and other parties.

The University Sports Federation of Hong Kong, China Limited (Federation) is looking for a full-time Senior Sports Executive to facilitate the management and the development of the Federation. This post is subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD).

Duties

- To organize and coordinate sports programs/competitions approved by the Federation including all local inter-collegiate competitions, sports for all events and programs to be held out of Hong Kong such as Summer & Winter World University Games, World University Championship, Asian University Championship and All China Games.

- To prepare annual plan, budget of local and overseas competitions/ programs for application of LCSD subvention.

- To attend meetings of the Council, Executive Committee (EC) and University Games Committee (UGC) to provide administrative & logistic support and prepare minutes for Council meeting.

- To oversee the general administration and management of the Federation office.

- To coordinate issues relating to human resources and financial affairs of the office.

- To perform duties assigned by Council Chairperson and Secretary, EC Chairperson and UGC Chairperson.

- To liaise with sponsors, LCSD, SF&OC, FISU, AUSF and relevant parties.

Requirements

- A recognized bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in the discipline of Sports Science, Physical Education, Management or related studies is preferable.

- With over six years working experiences is preferable.

- Able to work independently but also as an efficient member of a team

Salary: HK$46,007 per month
