Derivation Technology Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Solidity developer to design, develop, and maintain smart contracts for RWA and tokenization products. You will work on on-chain issuance, redemption, transfer, and settlement of tokenized assets.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in production-grade Solidity, deep knowledge of the EVM, gas optimization, access control, upgradeable contracts, and smart contract security.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining smart contracts for RWA and tokenization products. The ideal candidate has strong Solidity development experience and a solid understanding of RWA, tokenization, and smart contract security.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, deploy, and maintain smart contracts for RWA and tokenization infrastructure, supporting the secure and reliable on-chain issuance, redemption, transfer, and settlement of tokenized stocks, funds, and other real-world assets.
Design and implement core on-chain functionality, including token minting and burning, issuance and redemption, asset transfers, access control, and whitelisting.
Work closely with product, backend, compliance, and business teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into practical and secure smart contract solutions.
Write high-quality, secure, maintainable, and auditable Solidity code. Conduct code reviews and testing, optimize gas efficiency, and work with external security auditors when required.
Stay up to date with developments in RWA, tokenization, smart contract technologies, and relevant industry standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and technical architecture.
About you
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience developing production-grade Solidity smart contracts.
Strong proficiency in Solidity and a solid understanding of the EVM, gas optimization, access control, upgradeable contracts, and smart contract security best practices.
A good understanding of RWA, tokenization, or on-chain financial products, with the ability to quickly understand business requirements and translate them into robust smart contract designs.
Strong problem-solving skills, a high standard for code quality, and the ability to work effectively in an international and remote team environment.
