You will work with software teams to ensure resilient deployments, perform root-cause analyses, and contribute to post-mortems while advocating for proactive capacity planning and innovation across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Designs and architects infrastructure and/or service for reliability and functionality.
• Forecasts demands for infrastructure and capacity, ensuring resources meet current and future workloads.
• Collaborates with software teams to develop reliable and scalable infrastructures.
• Proactively identifies prototyping opportunities and drives initiatives to explore novel approaches.
• Monitors services, maintains knowledge of performance, and documents their condition.
• Performs incident response, root cause analyses, and maintenance on assigned services.
• Provides health and performance reporting and takes action based on data trends.
• Performs provisioning to support infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Identifies opportunities for automation and develops scripts/tools to mitigate issues.
• Writes release notes and communicates service requirements to customers and teams.
• Escalates and resolves incidents, driving resolution to meet SLOs.
• Conducts post-mortems to prevent recurrence.
• Drives experiments with new tools/technologies to optimize performance and security.
• Shares insights on production trends to support decision making.
