Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd. in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Securities Operations professional to execute settlements, corporate actions, and billing while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

You will support day-to-day custody activities, data maintenance, and client service with a strong emphasis on regulatory adherence. The role requires a degree and at least eight years in securities operations, with knowledge of CCASS, SFC rules, SFO, HKICL, MS Office, and bilingual English/Chinese.

Qualifications

• Degree holder.
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience in securities operations.
• Role attached to one custody function with fast-track rotation to other custody functions.
• Knowledge of CCASS, SFC rules, SFO and HKICL.

Responsibilities

• Execute securities transactions in settlement, corporate actions, account opening and billing.
• Handle day-to-day settlement (scripless and physical) across equities, fixed income and other instruments.
• Process corporate actions (voluntary and involuntary).
• Process monthly fee billings and collections.
• Dispatch holding statements.
• Maintain custody accounts.
• Perform static data maintenance and information updates.
• Provide second level client services and handle inquiries.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and audit/risk guidelines.
• Report suspicious/outstanding transactions per policy.
• Participate in UAT for system enhancements; review requirements and test cases.
• Participate in project initiatives and business development; training, etc.
• Handle routine and ad hoc tasks as directed by management.
