A reputable JV securities firm in Hong Kong is looking for a skilled Sales Trader to execute trades for institutional clients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of sales trading experience, a strong understanding of financial markets, and the ability to build solid client relationships. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required. This role offers an attractive compensation package and the opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding business team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a sales trading role.
• Proven track record of executing high-volume trades.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in trading.
• Strong market knowledge and communication skills.
• Experience with trading platforms and algorithms is a plus.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong regulatory requirements.

Job Description

• Execute trades on behalf of institutional clients accurately and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring optimal pricing and execution quality
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, providing them timely market updates and insights
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance trading technology and algorithms
• Monitor trading activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

The Successful Applicant

• Licensed person (Type 1) under SFC
• 3+ years of experience in a sales trading role
• Proven track record of executing high-volume trades and managing client relationships
• Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments and strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client‑focused approach
• Proficiency in trading platforms and tools, with experience in algorithmic trading being a plus
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in trading
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
