Job summary

ATAL Building Services Engineering Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor to handle contractual and commercial matters on multi-discipline E&M projects, with duties including variation/claim preparation, sub-contract measurement, and progress reviews.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering with at least 7 years of contract administration experience, strong time management, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of contract administration experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience on multi-discipline E&M infra-structure and healthcare projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity surveying duties including assist in handling contractual and commercial matters of multi-discipline E&M projects.

• Monitor project progress, identify delays and risk factors, assist in records.

Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Quantity Surveyor (REF: BSSG/QS)

Perform quantity surveying duties including assist in handling contractual and commercial matters of multi-discipline E&M projects.

Prepare and update variation and claim status on a regular basis

Measure and value sub-contracts and assist in agreement

Review correspondence and give advice on responses regarding contractual matters

Perform periodic review on progress of projects, give advice on potential delays and highlight risk factors

Assist project team to prepare and maintain contemporary records

Prepare claim submissions

Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders on project financial and contractual matters

Handle ad-hoc assignment (contractual / quantity surveying related) as requested

Assist in multiple project finance monitoring

Requirements:

Degree in Quantity Surveying / Engineering or related disciplines

At least 7 years relevant working experience in contract administration from contractor preferred

Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as a good team player

Strong time management and organization skills to meet deadlines

Candidate with multi-disciplinary E&M projects experience on infra-structure and healthcare projects

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Good analytic, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Proficiency in MS office application, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, experience on MS Project is a plus

Willing to learn and adaptable of changes

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
