Job summary

Elkay Interior Systems Hong Kong, Limited is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance professional to manage quality documentation, SOPs, audits, and traceability. The role partners with Engineering, Product Development, and Operations to ensure product safety and reliability.

You will track quality data, coordinate with laboratories, and implement QCPs and CAPs while staying current with BIFMA/EN/ASTM standards. Immediate availability is preferred, with occasional travel to Mainland China.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Industrial/ Manufacturing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Mainland China.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (both written and spoken).
• Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive problem-solver.
• CPSI knowledge or qualification is advantageous.
• Higher experience/qualifications may be considered for Senior QA Executive.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain quality documentation, inspection records, audit reports, and traceability logs.
• Prepare SOPs and follow up deviation, risk assessment, and change control.
• Track quality data and prepare management reports including trends and defect rates.
• Coordinate with third-party labs and vendors on testing.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QCPs, CAPs, and inspection checklists.
• Be familiar with testing standards like BIFMA/EN/ASTM.
• Participate in product reviews/workshops to ensure safety and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for day-to-day operations.
• Provide timely assistance on tasks/projects assigned by supervisor.

Job Description

Manage and maintain quality documentation, inspection records, audit reports, and traceability logs.

Handle routine quality management work including preparation of Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), follow up of deviation, risk assessment and change control etc.

Track quality data and prepare reports for management, including trends, defect rates, and improvement actions.

Coordinate with third-party laboratories and vendors on product safety and reliability testing.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality documentation and tools, including Quality Control Plans (QCP), Corrective Action Plans (CAP), and inspection checklists.

Familiar with testing standards like BIFMA/EN/ASTM etc.

Participate in product review / workshops to ensure safety and reliability of the product.

Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering/ Product Development/ Operations) for day-to-day operations.

Provide timely and effective assistance on any additional tasks or special projects assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Industrial/ Manufacturing or related technical discipline.

Five (5) years of relevant working experience.

Occasional business trips to Mainland China.

Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Analytical, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem-solver.

Quality assurance knowledge of tools and methodologies relating to furniture and decoration is highly preferred.

Knowledge of Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) is an advantage.

Suitable candidate with higher experience/qualifications may be considered as Senior QA Executive.
