Job summary

Elkay Interior Systems (EIS) in Hong Kong seeks a QA Executive to manage quality documentation, inspection records, audit reports, and traceability logs. You will collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure product safety and reliability, and maintain QCPs, CAPs and SOPs.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in quality/manufacturing, 5 years' experience, English and Chinese fluency, and occasional travel to Mainland China.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Industrial/ Manufacturing or related technical discipline.
• Five (5) years of relevant working experience.
• Occasional business trips to Mainland China.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem-solver.
• Quality assurance knowledge of tools and methodologies relating to furniture and decoration is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) is an advantage.
• Senior QA Executive may be considered for higher experience/qualifications.
• Immediately available is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain quality documentation, inspection records, audit reports, and traceability logs.
• Handle routine quality management work including preparation of SOPs, deviation follow-up, risk assessment and change control.
• Track quality data and prepare management reports including trends, defect rates and improvement actions.
• Coordinate with third-party laboratories and vendors on product safety and reliability testing.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality documentation and tools (QCP, CAP, inspection checklists).
• Familiar with testing standards like BIFMA/EN/ASTM.
• Participate in product review/workshops to ensure safety and reliability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering/Product Development/Operations).
• Provide timely assistance on additional tasks or special projects.

Job Description:

Manage and maintain quality documentation, inspection records, audit reports, and traceability logs.

Handle routine quality management work including preparation of Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), follow up of deviation, risk assessment and change control etc.

Track quality data and prepare reports for management, including trends, defect rates, and improvement actions.

Coordinate with third-party laboratories and vendors on product safety and reliability testing.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality documentation and tools, including Quality Control Plans (QCP), Corrective Action Plans (CAP), and inspection checklists.

Familiar with testing standards like BIFMA/EN/ASTM etc.

Participate in product review / workshops to ensure safety and reliability of the product.

Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering/ Product Development/ Operations) for day-to-day operations.

Provide timely and effective assistance on any additional tasks or special projects assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Industrial/ Manufacturing or related technical discipline.
