Job summary

ZPEED Recruitment is seeking a senior QA Engineer / Team Lead to bolster the quality and reliability of our client's data feed services through comprehensive API testing and automation. You will lead test execution, collaborate with product and development teams, and drive automation across E2E and API testing.

The ideal candidate has 3–6+ years in software testing, a CS or engineering degree, strong communication skills, and fluency in Cantonese.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of software testing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Fluency in Cantonese is required.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience designing automated test scripts in Python or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of manual and automated tests, including functional, performance, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and gather test cases for new features and existing functionalities.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for E2E & API testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results, identifying and reporting defects with clear and concise documentation.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and implement efficient and effective test strategies for API endpoints and data feeds.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and automation frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide detailed reports on test coverage, defect trends, and overall quality metrics.
