Job summary

FWD Group in Hong Kong seeks a senior investment professional to lead deployment across public markets, aligned with SAA/TAA, and to coordinate with banks, asset managers and internal teams. The role requires deep market insight, strong execution discipline, and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will translate strategic asset allocation into actionable plans, monitor liquidity and risk, and present updates to senior management and investment committees. CFA preferred and 10+ years experience.

Qualifications

• It is expected to have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in investment management or related finance discipline.
• It requires strong knowledge of SAA/TAA, portfolio implementation, and liability matching concepts.
• It requires excellent communication and stakeholder management across Group functions and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Drive deployment of public asset investments across fixed income, equities, cash, and other liquid instruments according to SAA/TAA.
• Maintain dialogue with banks, asset managers, and market participants to source ideas and assess liquidity.
• Translate SAA/TAA decisions into actionable portfolio implementation plans across public markets.
• Coordinate with Group and local stakeholders on priorities, cashflow, and capital considerations.
• Support execution across public markets with cross-functional teams to ensure timely implementation.
• Monitor market conditions, portfolio positioning, liquidity, and risk metrics for timely actions.
• Prepare deployment updates, trackers, and investment recommendations for senior management and committees.
