Job summary

Simatelex Manufactory Co Ltd is seeking an Asst. Factory Mgr / Sr Mgr, Production Engineering stationed in Batam, Indonesia.

The role leads the production engineering team to drive improvements in quality, process efficiency and cost control, while ensuring EHS compliance. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor in Production/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering and 10+ years in manufacturing management, with strong PIE, assembly line and warehouse experience, plus ISO9001/Lean/6-Sigma

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Production, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.
At least 10 years’ experience at managerial level in manufacturing industry.
Solid experience in PIE and knowledge of manufacturing techniques for electrical household appliances, especially assembly line and warehouse operation.
Experience with ISO9001, lean manufacturing and 6-Sigma is preferable.
Self-motivated, independent, strong conceptual and analytical skills, able to work under pressure.
Good command of English; Chinese language ability is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Assist the Factory Manager in leading and managing the production engineering team.
Drive continuous improvement on product quality, process effectiveness and efficiency, and reduce operation costs while enhancing EHS functionality.
