Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited is assisting a leading securities and wealth management client in Hong Kong to hire an experienced Fintech Product Owner for an IC role, driving end-to-end modernization of a next-generation trading platform ahead of a 2027 launch.

You will lead qualitative and quantitative research, re-architect retail workflows, collaborate with Mainland China teams, ensure compliance with SFC/HKEX standards, and own PRDs and user stories in a fast-paced cross-border environment.

Qualifications

10+ years of digital product management experience within HK retail brokerages or Fintech.
Deep functional expertise in HKEX market structure, order types, and retail wealth products.
Proven track record in hands-on user research and customer journey mapping.
Demonstrated commitment to an IC role, driving product execution without line management duties.

Responsibilities

Lead qualitative and quantitative user research with HK retail investors to identify behavior and workflow friction.
Re-architect core retail brokerage and wealth management workflows end-to-end.
Design intuitive user journeys and high-fidelity wireframes using Figma/Axure.
Translate business needs into PRDs, functional specs, and user stories for Mainland China teams.
Facilitate daily Agile/Scrum ceremonies with cross-border engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with SFC, HKEX standards, and local clearing/settlement rules.
Coordinate integrations with market data providers, clearinghouses, and payment gateways.
