Job summary

OKX is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our CeFi product design squads. You will craft intuitive, trustworthy, and aesthetically engaging user experiences for a global audience, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and researchers to transform ideas into design-driven solutions.

You will help shape both customer-facing interfaces and product-facing design practices, contributing to a holistic design vision across multiple offices and time zones.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Product Design, Interaction Design, or UX Design.
• Strong communication and ability to advocate for design decisions.
• Experience with cross-functional teams: designers, PMs, engineers, researchers.
• Strong design-thinking and user-centered methods.
• Results-oriented and adaptable to change.
• Experience with experimentation and research techniques.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize needs into design deliverables and keep design front-of-mind in product development.
• Translate insights into disruptive ideas and design workflows and interactions.
• Support product development with wireframes, flows, journey maps, mockups, prototypes, research.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams across Asia and beyond to define initiatives.
• Collaborate with UX Research, UX Writing, Brand, and Product leadership to shape design vision.
• Elevate design quality via formal reviews and design thinking workshops.

Join our CeFi product design squads at OKX as a Senior Product Designer and become a pivotal force in defining the crypto experience landscape. This role offers you a unique opportunity to craft intuitive, trustworthy, and aesthetically appealing user experiences that set the standard in the rapidly evolving crypto industry. Your work will not only shape customer-facing designs that meet the needs of a global audience but also drive business-facing design practices that underpin strategic decisions and product development. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of product managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders, you will lead the charge in transforming ideas into design-driven solutions that resonate with users globally.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Synthesize needs from Product, Engineering, and Marketing into comprehensive design deliverables, ensuring design is front-of-mind throughout the product development process
• Work through design problems from beginning to end: translating qualitative or quantitative insights into ideas that form disruptive new products and features, then designing the workflows and detailed interactions to realize them
• Support the product development process with wireframes, user flows, journey maps, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and evaluative research
• Partner with cross-functional peers within Product and Engineering in Asia and internationally to define initiatives and create thoughtful solutions -representing design and being the voice for the user throughout the product lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with UX Research, UX Writing, Brand, and Product leadership to shape the overall design vision of your area of ownership
• Consistently elevate the quality of the design by soliciting feedback from peers and stakeholders through formal Design Reviews, presentations and by facilitating design thinking workshops

What We Look For In You

• Solid experience in Product Design, Interaction Design, UX Design, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to articulate ideas and advocate for design decisions.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, UX Writers, and Researchers.
• A deep understanding of design-critical thinking and user-centered design methodologies, ensuring products offer intuitive and trustworthy experiences.
• Results-oriented and adaptable to change.
• A thorough understanding of experimentation and research techniques, capable of validating designs independently.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience designing for Fintech, Investment platforms, or Crypto products
• Experience working with global teams across offices and timezones
• A desire to mentor cross-functional peers and evangelize for great design
