Job summary

Captar Partners is seeking an Investment Advisor for a leading European Private Bank in Hong Kong. Responsibilities include delivering tailored investment advice, constructing client-aligned strategies, and working with bankers to prepare proposals and portfolio reviews.

The role requires deep experience in private banking/wealth management, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin. A high-standard client service culture is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Economics, Banking or related field.
• CFA or other relevant postgraduate qualifications preferred.
• Strong English and Mandarin communication skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Provide premium investment advice and craft strategies to align with client risk profiles.
• Present house view to marketing teams and coordinate with product specialists.
• Collaborate with Private Bankers to develop investment proposals and conduct portfolio reviews.
• Monitor client portfolios for performance and opportunities.
• Support development of new business initiatives and trading ideas across asset classes.
• Contribute to Investment Council and uphold internal control standards.
