Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Singapore to design, implement, and maintain advanced network infrastructure. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor junior team members, and ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability across on-prem and cloud environments.

The role requires extensive experience with enterprise routing/switching, network security, and cloud networking platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional network engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a senior-level role.
• Strong TCP/IP fundamentals and routing protocol knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise routing/switching platforms (Cisco/Juniper/Arista).
• Experience with network security, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Experience with cloud networking and on-prem hybrid environments.
• Ability to document solutions and mentor others.
• Familiarity with ITIL, SDN, and network automation (Python/Ansible) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network architectures.
• Configure and optimize BGP, OSPF, EIGRP across segments.
• Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and analyze data for optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and document solutions.
• Collaborate to integrate cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) with on-prem.
• Maintain network documentation and configuration management systems.
• Provide mentoring to junior engineers and support staff.
• Conduct regular network assessments and propose improvements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
