Job summary

Gfi World is seeking an experienced MVAC Design Engineer to oversee all phases of building services for MVAC systems, from inception to on-site completion. You will liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure project quality and progress.

The role requires strong technical knowledge in water treatment, refrigeration, and air conditioning, plus fluency in English and Chinese. Mid-level to senior candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma holder in Mechanical / Building Services / Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of work experience in MVAC system design.
• Experience with execution of Design & Build /MEP projects is an advantage.
• Experience in MVAC system design for Data Center will be a strong advantage.
• Demonstrate a good understanding and be technically competent in all building services, especially in water treatment, refrigeration and air conditioning.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skill.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, able to communicate with clients and consultants in both English and Mandarin.
• Mid-levels to senior levels are also welcome.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of new building project MVAC design from execution stages including inception, design brief, tender preparation, construction quality supervision and on-site supervision until the project completed
• Monitor the overall project execution stages, project quality, progress and standard are meet the project requirement
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities in relations to project progress and change
• Conduct technical feasibility study, on site supervision, quantity, and quality check etc.
