Job summary

HKUST’s Public Affairs and Global Communications Office seeks a Digital and Multimedia Designer to create engaging content and short-form videos for social platforms. You will collaborate with faculty and vendors to develop visual stories, including motion graphics for global and China platforms.

The role covers video production, photography, and end-to-end project management, from storyboarding to post‑production, with a two-year renewable contract and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Media, Design, Visual Communication, or related field with 3 years of multimedia experience; OR Associate/Higher Diploma with 5 years hands‑on production experience.
• Robust portfolio showing motion graphics, video editing, and photo editing skills (Premiere Pro/After Effects, Photoshop).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and AI applications; familiarity with social media video specs.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce engaging visual content, including motion graphics and infographics.
• Tailor branding for global and mainland China social media platforms.
• Produce short-form videos and photography for media campaigns.
• Manage production stages: storyboarding, filming, retouching, and post‑production.
