Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in application development and production support.
• Experience with large-scale, high-availability, mission-critical systems.
• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, React, Python, C/C++, and Linux shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with web application development, Red Hat Linux, Apache, Tomcat, and Oracle and/or DB2 databases.
• Knowledge of AWS, Huawei Cloud, and/or Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and modern software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of securities/derivatives industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver application development, system enhancement, and technology modernization initiatives.
• Perform system analysis, architecture design, development, testing, and implementation for critical applications.
• Produce project deliverables including specifications, design documents, and test plans.
• Collaborate with users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide production support for mission-critical systems and resolve issues promptly.
• Identify technology risks and drive mitigation for stability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with IT teams on cross-functional initiatives involving integration.
• Drive technical excellence and promote best practices across the SDLC.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and governance.
