Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial analysis, budgeting and reporting for multiple business units. You will collaborate with management, prepare comprehensive reports, monitor performance against targets, and drive process improvements plus digital transformation to enhance data integrity and efficiency.

Candidates should hold an accounting/finance degree; CPA/CFA advantageous; strong English and Chinese report writing; and excellent

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis with business units to identify key drivers behind the numbers and prepare comprehensive management reports.
• Lead budgeting and performance monitoring for business units and manage the budgeting process while monitoring progress against targets.
• Drive process optimization and digital transformation, advancing workflow automation to improve data integrity and operational efficiency.
• Participate in ad hoc duties or tasks assigned by supervisors.

• Undertake budgeting and performance monitoring duties for business units. Lead the budgeting process of business units and proactively monitor and analyze progress against targets.
• Perform process optimization and digital transformation, drive workflow automation to enhance data integrity and overall operational efficiency.
• Participate in additional duties or ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• University Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or a related discipline. Professional qualification such as CPA and CFA will be an advantage
• 8+ years of working experience in financial analysis and reporting in banks or financial institutions. Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Management Reporting Manager.
• Solid knowledge in financial analysis and good report writing skills in both English and Chinese
• Self-motivated, creative, able to work under pressure and independently
• Strong analytical skills with a logical and structured mindset
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
