Job summary

Max China Engineering Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Geomatics professional to lead survey and mapping activities and oversee the Geospatial Services and Land Survey Division.

The role involves performing and checking survey work, GIS data collection, input, updating and analysis, and preparing survey plans and reports. Experience with tender submissions and subcontractor management is required.

Qualifications

• Geomatics / Land Surveying degree from HK polytechnic or equivalent.
• Chartered membership (e.g. HKIS, RICS) or equivalent as recognised by Land Surveying Ordinance.
• At least 5 years post-qualification training and working experience.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese; Level 2 or above.
• Knowledge of GIS; BIM is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Administer Geospatial Services and Land Survey Division.
• Carrying out / checking all survey and mapping work.
• Undertaking GIS related spatial data collection, input, updating and analysing work.
• Supervising the preparation and production of survey plans and writing of survey reports.
• Responsible for preparation of tender submissions.
• Management of sub-contractors; and Training and supervising junior officers.
