Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Hong Kong is seeking experienced backend developers to join our APAC team. You will design and implement scalable RESTful services using Spring Boot, Java, and modern microservices.

You will review code, ensure security and performance, and collaborate with product owners and engineers across the business. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience with Spring Boot and Java.
• Strong RESTful API design, security, and documentation practices.
• Hands-on with microservices, Spring Cloud, and containerization.
• SQL/NoSQL database integration and Hibernate ORM knowledge.
• CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Maven.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of modules for end-to-end development.
• Define functional and technical specifications.
• Review code, enforce quality standards, and guide the team.
• Design and develop scalable applications.
• Handle integration with databases and third-party systems.
• Ensure security, scalability, cost optimization, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders.
