Job summary

PwC China in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Associate in IT Audit within Digital Assurance to deliver innovative audit and advisory services using cloud, AI and data analytics. You will assess ITGC and application controls, evaluate banking and insurance IT risk, and provide practical solutions to strengthen internal controls.

The role requires 3–5 years of IT audit experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and professional certifications (CISA/CISSP/CIA/CPA) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• 3-5 years IT Audit experience from a reputable international accounting firm or multi-national corporation.
• Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CPA is a plus.
• Good understanding of operations and workflows in banking and insurance sectors.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IT audits to assess ITGC and application controls.
• Evaluate controls for cloud, AI, blockchain, FinTech, and RegTech.
• Identify IT-related risks impacting financial and regulatory reporting including cybersecurity.
• Lead process walkthroughs and client interviews to gain insights into IT environments and controls.
• Utilize CAATs and data analytics tools to enhance audit efficiency and assurance.
• Prepare working papers and communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly.
• Provide advisory services on regulatory compliance and technology risk in banking and insurance sectors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop integrated client solutions.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
