Job summary

Oliver James Associates Asia partners with a leading insurance organization to hire an experienced Business Analyst. You will contribute to large-scale transformation programs across Digital, Operations, Core System, and Pension areas.

This role requires 5+ years of BA experience, strong insurance domain knowledge, and fluency in Cantonese and English. You will gather requirements, facilitate workshops, document BRDs and user stories, and collaborate with business users, PMs, and tech teams to

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience within the insurance industry.
• Strong insurance domain knowledge in Digital Transformation, Insurance Operations, Core System, or Pension.
• Proven experience delivering business and system change projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and UAT support.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to understand business needs and processes.
• Prepare business requirement documents, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
• Work closely with business users, project managers, and technology teams to deliver project objectives.
• Support UAT planning, test execution, defect tracking, and implementation activities.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
