Job summary

You will lead risk-based audits, assess IPV and valuation methodologies, author concise audit findings, and collaborate with trading

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Quantitative Finance or related discipline.
• CPA, CIA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of internal audit or risk management experience in a global bank or Big 4.
• Deep knowledge of trading instruments, market risk and HKMA guidelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex risk-based audits across global markets operations, sales desks, treasury, and trading units.
• Evaluate internal control frameworks across fixed income, FX, money markets, and structured derivatives.
• Assess IPV processes, valuation reserve methodologies, and quantitative risk models per HKMA.
• Author concise, high-impact audit reports for executive management and the Audit Committee.
• Partner with trading desks, risk managers, and compliance to monitor remediation of findings.
• Support optimization of the global markets audit universe and integrate data analytics.
