Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to lead the design and build of secure, scalable GCP landing zones within a highly regulated financial services environment. You will own IaC-driven infrastructure, including Terraform workflows, VPC design, IAM controls, and security hardening, while collaborating with security and architecture teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on GCP landing zone expertise, Terraform/IaC proficiency, Python scripting skills, and experience with CI/CD

Qualifications

• Experience delivering GCP landing zones for regulated environments.
• Hands-on GCP engineering and cloud architecture.
• Proficient with Terraform / IaC.
• Strong knowledge of GCP networking, IAM and security controls.
• Python scripting experience; Java exposure beneficial.
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud automation.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into cloud solutions.
• Experience with Cloud Run and Cloud Build.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance GCP landing zones for enterprise workloads.
• Develop cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Design and configure GCP networking, including VPCs, Cloud Router and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Implement and enhance IAM, access controls and cloud security controls.
• Automate cloud infrastructure and operational processes using Python and scripting.
• Support the implementation of cloud logging, monitoring and audit controls.
• Work with security, architecture and engineering teams to translate technical and regulatory requirements into practical cloud solutions.
• Review existing cloud environments and identify opportunities to improve automation, security and scalability.
