Job summary

DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an experienced FX Investment Counselor (FX IC) to engage relationship managers and clients with actionable FX solutions aligned to investment objectives and risk appetite.

The role requires at least 6 years of FX sales experience, a university degree (finance/investment preferred), and RI registration. You will collaborate with RMs and product providers, stay informed on FX market developments, and ensure compliance with SFO and HKMA rules.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of FX sales experience in FX industry or similar role in a financial institution.
• University degree; preferred qualification in Finance or Investment fields.
• Registered RI (SFO Type 1 & 4 or 1, 4 & 9 as required).
• Good understanding of FX industry, regulatory and business needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a team.
• Proficiency with standard platforms and analytical tools such as Reuters, Bloomberg; familiarity with computer software.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advisory and execute FX related services to high net worth clients through RMs to increase activity and profitability.
• Collaborate with RMs and division resources to achieve profitability and growth goals.
• Advise clients on risk management of positions with a disciplined and proactive approach.
• Coordinate with product providers to introduce new products and enhance services.
• Provide updates on FX market developments and product innovation at investment meetings.
