Job summary

EY in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Finance Advisory Services. You will work with clients to enhance internal finance and accounting systems, drive efficiency, and deliver process improvements across close-to-reporting cycles.

The role emphasizes communication with stakeholders, data analysis, and automation of accounting/reporting processes. A strong finance background with IFRS 17 exposure is preferred, in a dynamic, global team.

Qualifications

• Strong client service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with IFRS 17 implementation, reporting or audit is preferred.
• Knowledge of SOX and ICFR frameworks is beneficial.
• Familiarity with financial reporting tools and ledgers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations to clients on improvements to the financial statement close process and operating model.
• Deliver controls and process uplift through rationalisation, improvement and automation.
• Perform data mapping and analysis to support finance process enhancements.
• Assist in developing automated accounting and financial reporting solutions.
• Support testing activities for finance systems and assist with issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-border teams and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
