Job summary

Fidelity International is seeking a skilled professional for the Equity Portfolio Construction & Risk team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on leading risk management across equity portfolios, supporting portfolio managers, and driving innovative construction with modern analytics and AI tools.

Ideal candidates will have strong Python skills, a deep understanding of global equity markets, and experience in a buy-side environment, with a CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or Economics.
• CFA Charter holder or working towards CFA or equivalent.
• Experience in a buy-side role.
• Deep understanding of global equity markets.
• Strong Python for quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support coverage of a growing set of equity strategies, ensuring full portfolio risk coverage.
• Enhance FIL's risk management culture and embed it in decision making for client portfolios.
• Provide expert input on risk management and portfolio construction to complement fundamental stock selection.
• Undertake quantitative research with Python and financial data to guide strategic decisions and AI tooling use.
• Collaborate with regional Heads of Equities and other functions to broaden analytics and data resources.
• Take a leading role in Quarterly Fund Reviews and contribute to the Investment Risk Committee.
