Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their site team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on construction assessment, stability work, and precautionary measures across large-scale projects on the main contractor side.

Two levels are available: Senior Engineer and Engineer, with Senior Engineer requiring minimum 6 years of relevant site experience. A relevant professional qualification is preferred.

• Minimum 6 years of site experience on large-scale projects for Senior Engineer applicants.

This role focuses on construction assessment and stability work across large-scale projects on the main contractor side. The position is open at two levels, with candidates considered for Engineer based on experience.

About Our Client

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited has been active in Hong Kong's construction industry since 1979, undertaking building construction and civil engineering works. The company holds Group C approved contractor status across five public works categories, including Buildings, Port Works, Roads and Drainage, Site Formation, and Waterworks.

What you'll be doing?

• Construction assessment: Carry out assessments on the effects of proposed construction activities on project stability.
• Precautionary measures: Identify and implement precautionary measures to ensure the overall stability of the works.
• Stability management: Monitor and ensure the structural and site stability of the whole or any part of the works throughout the project.

Who are they looking for?

• Academic qualification: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Professional qualification: A relevant professional qualification is preferred.
• Relevant experience: Minimum 6 years of site experience from large-scale projects on the main contractor side is required for Senior Engineer candidates.
• Less experienced candidates: Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Engineer position.
