Job summary

OKX is seeking an experienced Java backend engineer for the DEX Token Markets team. You will build and maintain a real-time market tracking platform supporting multiple chains, focusing on high-throughput, low-latency data processing and reliable services.

The role requires 3–5+ years of backend Java experience, strong knowledge of JVM and concurrency, and solid SQL skills. Collaboration with product and cross-functional teams is essential in a fast-paced crypto environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years building high-performance backends in Java.
• Deep understanding of JVM, IO, multithreading, and networking.
• Experience with MySQL, transactions, indexing, and SQL optimization.
• Strong problem-solving, quick learning, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the market tracking and analysis platform.
• Develop high-throughput, low-latency backend systems and optimize data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure stability of services.
• Deliver features with quality and timely, writing clean, tested code.
• Collaborate with product and other engineering teams to support integrations.
