Job summary

OKX in Singapore is seeking an experienced backend engineer for the DEX Token Markets team to build and maintain the real-time market tracking platform. You will design high-throughput systems that cope with meme-coin style volume spikes while keeping data accurate and available.

You should have 3–5+ years in Java, a strong grasp of JVM, multithreading, and networking, plus solid MySQL experience and familiarity with caching and message queues.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years building high-performance Java systems.
• Strong knowledge of JVM, IO, multithreading, and networking.
• Solid MySQL experience with transactions, indexing, SQL optimization.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the market tracking platform with meme coin–style volume spikes.
• Develop high-throughput, low-latency backend systems.
• Troubleshoot issues to ensure stability.
• Ship features on time with clean, tested code.
