Job summary

Red Begonia Limited is seeking a DevOps/SRE Lead with hands-on expertise to own reliability, architecture evolution, automation, and major incident response for our production platform.

You will define infrastructure and reliability standards, lead incident responses, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Engineering, Security, Product, and leadership teams across Linux, cloud, Kubernetes, databases, and middleware.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps/SRE related roles with technical lead experience.
• Proven ability to own and continuously improve production reliability for medium-to large-scale environments.
• Strong leadership during high-pressure incidents and clear ownership assignment.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end architectures from gateways to databases and dependencies.
• Hands-on Linux troubleshooting and cloud platform experience (AWS or equivalent).
• Production Kubernetes experience, ideally EKS or managed platforms, with HA and scheduling mastery.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap, architecture planning, and standards for production, pre-production, and test environments.
• Lead secure, scalable, observable platform design across cloud infra, networking, compute, storage, containers, databases, and middleware.
• Act as incident commander for major outages: assess, contain, coordinate, restore, and drive post-incident actions.
• Design high-availability and isolation strategies, including multi-AZ, data/compute separation, and DR planning.
• Lead evolution of Linux, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC, observability, and security hardening.
• Define production readiness standards for new services: capacity, limits, monitoring, logging, and rollback rules.
