Job summary

Nex Playground seeks a Senior Designer to shape the visual direction of motion games and experiences on the Nex platform. You will balance hands-on design with creative leadership, collaborating with the Senior Director of Design to elevate the visual language across family entertainment products.

You will drive craft, establish benchmarks, and mentor a growing design team, delivering distinctive, playful visuals and remarkable digital products that resonate with families and players of all ages.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in communication design and art direction.
• Excellent taste and attention to detail across design disciplines.
• Strong creative point of view and ability to lead others.
• Video game industry experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Define and uphold Nex’s visual language across game studio projects and external partnerships.
• Elevate craft excellence and push for innovative ideas across projects.
• Establish style guides and design review processes for consistent execution.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Publishing, and other teams on production and promotion of games.
• Mentor and coach the Design team in coordination with the Senior Director of Design.
