Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is seeking an experienced IT professional for its Derivative Systems team in Hong Kong. The role covers application development, testing, project implementation and ongoing production support for mission-critical derivatives systems.

Key duties include requirements analysis, design, development, testing, incident resolution and collaboration with IT teams, with rostered production support including night shifts and public holidays.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• 10+ years of app development in large-scale systems, preferably in finance.
• Hands-on Linux and Java; Python/Perl/SQL/Shell advantageous.
• Experience with web apps, databases, FIX, REST APIs; SDLC understanding.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement systems, analyze requirements, estimate effort.
• Design, develop and enhance applications using modern tech.
• Test, debug, and verify fixes; manage production issues.
• Review software design and code quality; document changes.
• Collaborate with IT teams on development, testing, deployment.
• Participate in rostered production support including night shifts.
