Job summary

Binance is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support the Risk/Data team with data pipeline development, SQL analytics, and data standardization initiatives. This hands-on role offers exposure to large-scale data processing in a real business setting.

You will work under senior guidance to develop pipelines, clean data, and contribute to dashboards and reports while learning risk control and fraud detection processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong SQL skills; Hive/Spark SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Basic Python or scripting proficiency.
• Interest in data analytics, risk control, or fraud detection.
• Good communication and initiative.
• Available for at least 3 days per week, for 3+ months.

We're looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join the Risk/Data team. The intern will support data pipeline development, SQL-based analytics, and data standardization initiatives under the guidance of senior team members. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with large-scale data processing in a real business environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining SQL-based data pipelines and analytics workflows
• Support data standardization and normalization projects (e.g., address parsing, entity resolution)
• Help build and optimize data models, dashboards, and reports
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis under mentorship and present findings to the team
• Assist in monitoring data quality and implementing validation logic
• Collaborate with team members on cross-functional data projects

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• Solid SQL skills, familiarity with Hive/Spark SQL is a plus
• Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
• Strong interest in data analytics, risk control, or fraud detection
• Good communication skills, eagerness to learn and take initiative
• Available for at least 3 days per week, minimum 3-month internship duration
