Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Business, Economics, Analytics, Statistics)
• Hands-on experience in data analytics or a highly analytical operations role
• Proficient in SQL and advanced Excel; Python and data visualization tools preferred
• Understanding of on-demand marketplace dynamics and pricing mechanisms

Lalamove’s Analytics team is the engine behind our real-time, data-driven marketplace. We don’t just measure performance; we build the quantitative foundation that enables a highly efficient, liquid, and competitive on‑demand logistics ecosystem.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and data-savvy Pricing professional to support our pricing execution and marketplace optimization efforts. In this role, you will be heavily involved in deep‑dive data analysis, tracking competitive movements, and maintaining the analytical models that ensure Lalamove delivers the most competitive and profitable prices to our users.

What we seek:

• Competitive Intelligence Monitoring: Track, scrape, and benchmark competitor pricing activities on a regular basis. Maintain and update intelligence dashboards to keep the team informed of market movements.
• Support Pricing Execution: Assist in the operational rollout and configuration of surcharge structures, surge pricing, and promotional incentives aimed at balancing marketplace liquidity.
• Deep‑Dive Analysis: Query massive datasets to track pricing performance, demand patterns, and user behavior. Help identify anomalies or opportunities for price adjustments.
• Performance Reporting: Maintain regular reporting rhythms. Track key marketplace metrics, build dashboards, and provide the analytical groundwork for strategic narratives.
• Continuous Improvement: Highlight structural gaps or inefficiencies in day‑to‑day operations and suggest automation opportunities to streamline pricing execution.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Hands‑on experience in data analytics, commercial finance, or a highly analytical operations role.
• Proficient in SQL and advanced Excel. Exposure to Python and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) is highly preferred.
• Understanding of on‑demand marketplace dynamics (e.g., matching supply and demand, driver incentives, user promos).
• Strong attention to detail and a highly analytical mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and execute tasks accurately with a high degree of ownership.
