This position is within the Core IT Services department, which provides an IT infrastructure platform for the business. You will be part of a global team – Network Security Operations, collaborating with colleagues across Europe, Asia and the U.S. The team has two primary focuses; cybersecurity operations and network operations.

This role is based in Frankfurt or Hong Kong.

What you will do

  • Lead initiatives to enhance the security posture, including network segmentation, NDR, NAC, and vulnerability management
  • Oversee third-party SOC services to ensure alignment with expectations, conducting technical reviews and managing escalations for issues and incidents
  • Support the development and improvement of the global cybersecurity operations program, ensuring procedures and guidelines are current and accurate while reflecting global/regional/local business needs
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including third-party service providers and cross-functional teams (e.g., Core IT Services, Risk Management, IT Compliance) to facilitate audits, provide evidence, and create management decision-papers and status reports for transparency
  • Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance security measures

What you bring

  • University degree in Information Technology and industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) directly related to cybersecurity
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct cybersecurity operations experience
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with security tools and platforms, cloud security, and in-depth knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE), compliance standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, KAIT, VAIT)
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerBI
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and priorities, and manage tasks in a dynamic environment, particularly within the financial, banking, or asset management sectors
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills, with experience working with international teams, and external service providers
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and addressing potential issues, while keeping up with cybersecurity trends
  • Fluent in English, additional language skills being a plus
  • Highly motivated, target-oriented, persistent, and a team player with good interpersonal skills
