Job summary

Careerowl.in seeks a senior researcher to interpret complex, rapidly evolving crypto market scenarios. You will build context-rich views on regulatory developments, governance, token unlocks, and special situations to inform positioning and risk.

You will work with on-chain and real-time intelligence teams, leveraging proprietary data and tooling to stress-test ideas and shape trading perspectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information- and flows-driven research or trading in tier-1 buy-side or prop trading.
• Ability to operate in event-driven settings with incomplete information and evolving narratives.
• Genuine curiosity about crypto with ability to ramp quickly across topics.
• Comfort in rigorous debate and cross-team collaboration across research, trading, and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own event-driven situations end to end, developing deep, context-rich views and maintaining a running view as facts evolve
• Monitor and interpret new information, separating signal from noise and communicating what matters
• Identify actionable, asymmetric opportunities early based on understanding of evolving situations
• Contribute to research capabilities, collaborating with engineering to shape tools and workflows for event-driven trading
• Work with on-chain and real-time intelligence teams using proprietary data sources to pressure-test ideas
