Qualifications

• 5+ years in information- and flows-driven research or trading within a tier-1 buy-side or proprietary trading environment.
• Ability to operate in event-driven settings where outcomes depend on incomplete information and evolving narratives.
• Comfort engaging with diverse event-driven topics and building conviction quickly.
• Genuine intellectual curiosity about crypto and a credible path to ramping up quickly.
• Ability to go deep into detail while maintaining a holistic view of the situation.
• Ability to hold and adapt coherent views as situations evolve.
• Comfort with rigorous debate and constructive challenge across research, trading, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own event-driven situations end to end, developing deep, context-rich views as facts evolve.
• Monitor and interpret new information, separating signal from noise and communicating what matters.
• Identify actionable, asymmetric opportunities early based on a robust understanding of the situation.
• Contribute to research capabilities, collaborating with engineering to shape tools and workflows.
• Work with on-chain and real-time intelligence teams, leveraging proprietary data and tooling to pressure-test ideas.
