Job summary

Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an AVP Credit Underwriter to join the Private Wealth Lending team in Hong Kong. You will manage a portfolio of sophisticated credit clients with collateralized facilities and ensure sound risk controls.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, experience as a credit officer or underwriter, and a deep understanding of derivatives, structured products, and cash flow analysis.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of banking experience.
• Credit officer or underwriter experience.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives and structured products.
• Experience analyzing complex investment portfolios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sound credit decisions and portfolio risk management.
• Prepare Credit Applications with accurate information.
• Conduct financial analysis including cash flow modeling.
• Evaluate collateral including investment portfolios, CRE, aircraft, and art collections.
• Prepare and negotiate credit documentation with internal/external counsel.
• Assist in Portfolio Management activities, including Annual Credit Reviews and covenant monitoring.
• Identify emerging credit issues and assist with remedial management.
