Job summary

Standard Chartered seeks a Senior Credit Manager to oversee second line of defence for Credit Risk across the Hong Kong Corporate and Institutional Banking portfolio and the Greater China North Asia Corporate Finance portfolio. You will oversee risk management actions, challenge first-line decisions, and ensure ERMF adherence while fostering a robust risk culture.

You will interact with senior risk committees, internal stakeholders, and external regulatory expectations, guiding risk parameters

Qualifications

• Ten years or more in credit management, discretionary lending
• Strong knowledge of credit risk frameworks and risk governance
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee second line of defence for Credit Risk in HK CIB and Greater China portfolios
• Challenge risk management actions from the first line
• Maintain ERMF alignment and risk appetite monitoring
• Develop and sustain a strong risk culture and conduct within the function
