Job summary

Meology is seeking a Senior Copywriter to join our creative team in Hong Kong. You will craft compelling social media copy, shaping brand voice for diverse clients.

You will report to the Creative Director and collaborate with designers and account teams to deliver standout campaigns. You’ll stay on top of industry trends, translate insights into creative solutions, and contribute to social media planning and presentations.

Qualifications

• 4 years of copywriting experience or more in branding/marketing
• Ability to craft copy for social media campaigns
• Proficiency in Cantonese creative writing across formal and social media styles
• Strong collaboration with creative and account teams to generate ideas

About the Role

As a Senior Copywriter at Meology, you'll report to the Creative Director and be a part of a Creative team that writes for well-known brands across different industries. You'll never have to worry about plateauing in your career. Confident that you can write compelling copies that will provoke the audience? This role allows you to flex your creative writing skills!

What you'll be taking care of:

• Be the mastermind behind the success of our award-winning work for clients
• Design & deliver engaging copywriting mainly for social media platforms
• Manage and monitor the performance of social media platforms
• Stay on top of industry news and trends and translate these into solutions
• Work closely with the team in the preparation of social media plan recommendations and presentations
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

What you'll bring to the table:

• 4 years of experience in copywriting, with a good understanding of branding and marketing and communications; fresh graduates are also welcome
• Develop compelling copy for advertising campaigns, social media content, and other marketing materials.
• Proficiency in Cantonese creative writing (both formal and social media style) and adapting different tones and manners
• Work closely with the creative and account teams to generate innovative ideas
• Adapt tone and style to match brand voice across different channels and audiences.
• Stay updated on social media trends and digital content best practices.
• Good understanding of social media & digital channels usages
• Interested in generating ideas and translating them into creative pieces
• A good team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Innovative and passionate in the digital marketing sector
• Problem solver with the ability to "think outside the box".
• Positive working attitude, able to deal with pressure and good at multitasking.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
• Excellent spoken Cantonese and English
• Media and agency background is highly preferred
