PingPong Payments in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Compliance Officer / MLRO to oversee the regulatory framework under the SFO/SFC for Type 1, 3, 4 and 9 businesses. The role includes governance of AML/CTF, KYC/CDD, and regulatory reporting.

The successful candidate will lead regulatory inspections, coordinate with the SFC and JFIU, and advise senior management on product structuring, marketing materials, and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years of compliance experience within the SFC financial services sector in Hong Kong.
• Proven expertise in SFC regulations, with track record across asset management (Type 9), brokerage (Type 1), and forex trading/margin monitoring (Type 3).
• Exceptional communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin; strong stakeholder management across senior management.

Responsabilités

• Act as the contact point for the Compliance function and own regulatory operations.
• Liaise with SFC and JFIU; coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and information requests.
• Develop, implement, and update compliance manuals, internal controls, AML/CTF systems, and KYC/CDD processes.
