Financial Group in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Compliance Manager to lead a small team in Insurance Regulatory Compliance. You will assist in setting up policies, review sales compliance for Insurance & MPF, and coordinate with IA/MPFA/SFC. Strong English and Chinese required.

The ideal candidate has a university degree with 10+ years in insurance compliance, demonstrating independence, resilience and excellent communication skills to influence across departments.

Qualifications

Senior Compliance Manager (Insurance)

A sizable and reputable Financial Group is looking for a high-calibre Compliance Professional to lead a small team in Insurance Regulatory Compliance function.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Head of Legal and Compliance to set up the overall compliance policies and procedures within the Group
• Lead a small team of Insurance Compliance staff
• Oversee in reviewing sales compliance on the areas of Insurance & MPF
• Deal with related Regulatory Bodies, such as IA, MPFA & SFC
• Oversee the compliance matters of IA/MPFA/SFC
• Disseminate compliance-related information and publication to all relevant staff or departments or consultants.
• Provide advice to business units on compliance-related queries.

Requirements:

• University degree with minimum of 10 years’ experience in insurance compliance functions
• Experience in regulatory compliance function, including training, communication and policies drafting.
• Knowledge on Insurance regulatory requirement, IA, MPFA & SFC
• Mature and able to work independently & under pressure
• Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Self-motivated and pro-active team player with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
