Job summary

PeopleSearch Limited is seeking a proactive Senior Compliance Manager to join its growing asset management platform in Hong Kong. This hands-on role supports the Compliance team across fund management activities, regulatory matters, marketing materials review, and KYC oversight.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years’ compliance experience in asset management, strong HK regulatory knowledge, and excellent English and Chinese communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
• 3–6 years of compliance experience in asset management.
• Experience with a well-established asset management firm preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HK regulatory requirements (FMCC, Advertising Guidelines, SFC).
• Familiarity with SFC-authorized funds, UCITS, Cayman SPC structures, and alternative investments.
• Experience in marketing materials review and KYC compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese, including Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day compliance advisory and support to business stakeholders.
• Review and approve marketing, promotional, and client-facing materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining KYC policies, procedures, and controls.
• Review customer due diligence and KYC documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support the handling of regulatory inquiries, inspections, and communications with regulators.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assist in implementing necessary compliance enhancements.
• Participate in compliance monitoring, control testing, and risk management initiatives.
• Undertake ad hoc compliance-related projects and assignments as required.
