Job summary

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY COUNCIL - HONG KONG INSTITUTE OF CONSTRUCTION seeks a qualified lecturer to deliver computer-aided drafting, engineering drawing and BIM courses using AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit in Hong Kong.

The appointee will design and update training materials, coordinate practical sessions, and liaise with industry partners under HKQF requirements. The position is temporary for 6 months.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in construction, architecture, engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in CAD, BIM or related fields.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit; knowledge of other CAD/BIM apps is a plus.
• Teaching or training experience; knowledge of HKQF and programme design preferred.
• Strong integrity, communication, and ability to liaise with industry stakeholders; fluent in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Teach CAD, engineering drawing and BIM courses using AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit.
• Organise practical exercises, projects, industry visits and other learning activities.
• Prepare and update training materials in line with HKQF and industry needs.
• Monitor student learning progress and provide academic guidance.
• Develop new courses and update existing CAD/BIM content; liaise with construction companies and training bodies.
• Undertake HKQF-related programme administration, quality assurance and documentation duties.
